GUIDEHow Minuro works
Minuro · Own every second
Minuro is a clock and timer app that runs entirely on your device. Countdowns, stopwatches, interval routines and event timers share one clear dial, and up to 30 timers can run at once.
There’s no account and nothing to sign in to. After the first visit it works the same with or without a connection, and everything you create stays on this device.
Clock and ring
Clock shows an analog dial with the time and date below it. The orange ring around the dial follows the seconds; in Setup → Clock ring it can follow the minutes or the hours instead, or be off.
Show seconds, Blink separators, Smooth hands and 24-hour clock change how the time is shown.
Countdowns
In Timers, tap the timer name under the dial to switch timers, or + to make a new one. Set hours, minutes and seconds, a colour, and if you like a repeat: a number of times or until stopped.
−5 min, −1 min, +1 min and +5 min change a countdown while it runs or is paused. When it has finished, +1 and +5 continue it. Reset goes back to the time you set.
Stopwatch and laps
Start a stopwatch, then Lap marks a lap while it runs. Laps lists them with the fastest and slowest marked.
Reset ends the run and records it in History, laps included.
Interval routines
An interval timer runs a sequence: warm-up, rounds of work and rest, cool-down. Start from HIIT, Tabata, EMOM or Pomodoro, or set your own segments and rounds.
While it runs, −10 s and +10 s change the current segment and Skip jumps to the next one. Each change of segment beeps and vibrates once.
Event timers
An event counts down to a date and time, then counts up once it has passed: a trip, a birthday, or the days since something happened. Pick a past time to count up straight away.
Events have Edit and Delete instead of Start and Reset.
Clock pills
Every running timer and every event gets a pill on the Clock, with its colour and the time left. The one that ends soonest comes first.
Tap a pill to open that timer. When they don’t all fit, swipe the row or use the ‹ › arrows.
Library
The Library keeps the timers you use often: presets (countdowns and stopwatches) and interval routines. Load adds one as a new timer and opens it in Timers.
The pencil edits an item, New library item adds your own, and every item can be changed or deleted, the built-in ones too.
History and Run again
Each finished countdown and interval routine, and each stopwatch run you reset, is recorded with its date, name and length. The newest 500 are kept.
ⓘ shows the details and laps; Run again sets up the same timer again. Clear history removes everything, with Undo for a moment after.
Backup and restore
History → Backup & restore → Export backup saves everything (timers, running ones too, library, history and Setup) as one file that you keep, for example in your cloud drive.
Import backup on any device replaces everything there, after you confirm. Make one before changing phones or clearing your browser.
Alerts · only while open
When a timer finishes Minuro beeps and vibrates: three pulses at the end, two at each repeat, one at each interval change. Turn sound or vibration off in Setup → Alerts.
Alerts only work while Minuro is open and on screen. They are not guaranteed when it is closed, in the background or the phone is locked, so don’t rely on it for medication or other critical reminders. Sound may need one tap in the app first, and iPhone and iPad don’t vibrate for web apps.
Network dot and updates
The dot at the top right shows when Minuro uses the internet. Grey: not using it, the normal state, online or offline. Orange: checking for an update. Green: downloading one.
Updates download in the background and apply when no timer is about to change and you aren’t using the app. Minuro then reopens on the same page and says “Updated to …”. Tap the dot to see your version or check now.
Install the app
Installed, Minuro opens full screen like any other app and starts offline.
- Android · Chrome: menu ⋮ → Add to Home screen → Install.
- iPhone and iPad · Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
- Computer · Chrome or Edge: the install icon in the address bar → Install.
Offline and your data
After the first visit Minuro needs no connection. Your timers, library, history and Setup are saved in this browser on this device, never on a server, and are not shared between devices.
Clearing the browser’s site data deletes them, and so can uninstalling in some browsers. Export a backup now and then; Backup & restore also tells you whether the browser has protected your data.

Privacy policy
In short: Minuro doesn’t collect, see or keep your personal data. What you create stays on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies.
Who we are
Minuro is made by neodesigner.com, Ireland (“we”), which is responsible for this app and its website. Contact: minuro@neodesigner.com.
Data on your device
Your timers, library, history and settings are stored in your browser’s storage on your device, together with the app’s own files so that it works offline. We have no access to any of it. It stays until you delete it in the app, clear the site’s data in your browser or, in some browsers, uninstall the app. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so it needs no consent banner.
Backup files
A backup file is created only when you tap Export backup, and it is saved wherever you choose. We never receive it. It contains your timer names and history, so keep it somewhere safe.
The website and updates
The app and its updates are downloaded from our website, which is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). This happens when you open the website, when the app starts while online, and when it checks for updates. Like any web server, Vercel receives technical data with each request (your IP address, the time, the file requested and your browser type) and keeps short-term logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Vercel does this on our behalf as our processor, under its data processing terms. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Transfers to the USA are covered by Vercel’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses. We don’t use this data to identify or track you, and no analytics are switched on.
Nothing else
Minuro loads no third-party scripts, fonts, adverts, trackers or social media plugins, and we don’t sell or share data with anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data about you, and to restrict or object to its use. Because we hold no data about you, such a request would only concern the hosting logs; write to us and we’ll help. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version comes with an app update and shows its date at the top.
Terms of use
By using Minuro you accept these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.
The service
Minuro is free. It is provided “as is”. We may change it, update it or stop offering the website at any time; a copy already on your device keeps working.
Not for critical timing
Alerts only work while the app is open and on screen. Don’t rely on Minuro where a missed or late alert could cause harm or loss, such as medication, safety, cooking safety or legal deadlines.
Your data
What you create is yours and stays on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups. We can’t recover lost data, because we never have it.
Our rights
The Minuro name, symbol, design and code belong to neodesigner.com. Don’t copy, change or redistribute them, or disrupt the website, except as the law allows.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by a missed or late alert, lost data or the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts are competent. If you are a consumer in another EU country you keep the protection of its mandatory laws.
Changes and contact
Changed terms come with an app update. Questions: minuro@neodesigner.com.
